In short: you get your money every Monday for all orders that were delivered and whose protection period has passed. On average 5 days after the sale, never more than 9. Until online payment launches, customers pay you directly.
Today (pilot phase)
Customers pay cash on handover or by bank transfer to your IBAN (shown in the order confirmation). Money does not pass through HOFARO. Commission in the pilot: 0 % for the first 25 farms until 31 March 2027. After that, a monthly commission invoice.
With online payment (phase 2)
- Order: the amount is only reserved on the customer's payment method.
- You confirm (24 h): capture. Without confirmation: automatic cancellation, nobody pays.
- Delivery/handover: status "Completed" – protection period starts: 48 h for perishables, 14 days for non-perishables (withdrawal).
- Release: after the period the amount is free for payout.
- Monday 06:00: payout of all released amounts by SEPA to your IBAN, minus commission and payment fee. Minimum €10, otherwise carried to next week.
- 1–2 banking days later the money is on your account. Statement as PDF and CSV in the farm panel, commission invoice with 19 % VAT.
Example: delivered Tuesday → released Thursday → payout Monday → account Tuesday/Wednesday.

Example €100 goods + €4.90 shipping: customer pays €104.90, commission €8.00, payment fee €1.75, payout €95.15.
Requirements
IBAN in the farm profile. For online payouts a one-time identity check with the payment provider (ID, company data, about 10 minutes) – required by anti-money-laundering law. Without it you can keep selling for cash/transfer.
Invoices and taxes
You are the seller. HOFARO creates the invoice to the customer automatically in your name with your tax number and the correct VAT rate (7 % food, 19 % e.g. drinks, flowers, candles). Small businesses (§ 19 UStG) are invoiced without VAT. HOFARO sends you the monthly commission invoice.
Refunds and disputes
Answer complaints within 48 hours (refund, replacement, rejection with reason). After 72 hours without an answer HOFARO decides by policy. Customer refunds run automatically via the original payment method (5–10 banking days) and are offset against your next payout. A negative balance open for 60 days is invoiced.
Where you see everything
Farm panel → Orders (status, complaints) and → Payouts (released amounts, next payout, statements). Via Telegram: "payout?" shows the current state.
